Anti-Bush T-Shirt - ACLU Settlement
According to the ACLU, the Federal government is to pay $80,000 to a Texas couple who was arrested in cover their t-shirts that had anti President Bush slogans. Both Nicole and Jeffrey Rank of Corpus Christi, Texas were arrested on July 4, 2004 at a Capitol rally where George W. Bush was giving a speech. The trespassing charges were dismissed and the case was closed last Thursday.
According to the article, the t-shirts had the the international symbol for “no” superimposed over the word “Bush.” On the back of Nicole Rank’s T-shirt said “Love America, Hate Bush.” On the back of Jeffery Rank’s T-shirt was the message “Regime Change Starts at Home.”You can read the full story on MSN
