Retarted T-Shirt Banned?
A tri-state mall store is selling a tee shirt depicting Forrest Gump with the word “Retard” under it. When the mother of handicapped children read this tee shirt she was outraged, She claimed that the shirt was not humorous in any way they were only hurtful. The mother, Jennifer Cooper, was livid that the shirts were so plentiful in the store and stated: “It is sad in this day and age when people think that a handicapped person is funny”. When the store clerks were asked question regarding the shirts, they declined to comment. The owner of the store was out of town and told his employee not to say anything.
